The VAF is soliciting donations from endowed Foundations in 2012. There is a possibility to gain significant funding from private foundations that focus on funding medical research. In early 2009, one Foundation, which asked to remain unnamed, donated $40,000 to the VAF. We are hopeful that these types of donations will increase over the coming years.
