Public Relations Committee
The goal of the Public Relations Committee is to increase awareness of the importance of vision to animals, as well as the devastating impact ocular diseases have on the quality of life of animals. The secondary objective of the Committee is to solicit financial contributions from the pet-owning public and veterinary community to support research investigating ocular diseases of animals. The Committee also serves to educate the public about the philanthropic activities of veterinary ophthalmologists, the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists™, and the Vision for Animals Foundation with respect to the well being of animals.
