Resident Phacoemulsification Course

The ACVO Vision for Animals Foundation, in partnership with Bausch + Lomb, is offering a Phacoemulsification Course for 2nd and 3rd Year ABVO Residents.  The course will take place on Thursday, June 13th- Saturday, June 15th at the Marriott St. Louis West.

Thursday, June 13th
Welcome Reception/Dinner, 6:30 pm – 9 pm

Friday, June 14th
Tour and Lecture Program, 7 am – 5 pm; Dinner 7 pm

7 am – 8 am

Saturday, June 15th
Wet Lab, 8 am – Noon

Participants will receive 9.5 CE hours (5 lecture, 4 wet lab). This course will be submitted to RACE for approval.

Tuition is $500. Travel and accommodation are not included in tuition.  While the VAF will reserve hotel rooms for attendees, residents will be responsible for covering the cost at check out.  Meals are included throughout the course: a Welcome Reception/Dinner on Thursday, June 13th; breakfast/lunch/dinner on Friday, June 14th; and breakfast and lunch on Saturday, June 14th.
